The remote auto scan lets you to check on previous records including temperature ranges from the remote locations where you installed the gauge.

While the Honeywell TC150 lets you monitor rainfall from up to three locations, these points are limited to within the hundred-feet radius of the main access point. While this will ensure accurate information for your specific location, it's going to be difficult to make a generalization for farther areas. The within line-of-sight limit of the remote gauges can also pose problems especially in locations with dense vegetation.
